Camping Policies

Wilderness_Camping-imageAlcohol/Firearms/Fireworks– alcoholic beverages shall be confined to your campsite – no alcohol consumption under 19 years of age – use of illegal drugs is not permitted anywhere on Park property – Firearms, slingshots, air rifles, fireworks (including Chinese Lanterns)are NOT permitted in the Park

Beach/Playground/Docks – no children under 13 allowed at playground or beach unsupervised by an adult or a sibling 16 or older at any time – no one allowed on our docks or on any boat docked there unless you have brought your own or rented a boat/slip- no swimming or fishing from the docks

Campfires– campfires are permitted after 6:00 p.m. unless there is a fire ban (check with Management) and must be in fire ring provided only – do not relocate any fire rings – all fires must be completely out before retiring – NO wood permitted to be brought into the Park – wood may be purchased at the Office – no cutting of brush or trees for fire wood
Campsite – rates are based on one family per site (2 adults and 2 children under 18) – one accommodation per site – an additional small tent for children may be allowed on Management approval – children must return to their family’s campsite by 9:00 p.m. unless accompanied by an adult
Check-in/Check-out – check-in time is between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (before dark).  Check-out is 12:00 noon.  Campers wishing to stay beyond this time must confirm with Management first and a “stay for the day” rate will apply

Damages – you are responsible for any damages – no carving into picnic table provided – no nails to be put in any trees – no cutting trees or branches for any reason, including fire starting

Fish Cleaning – No fish cleaning at your campsite – fish cleaning station is at waterfront by boat shed -please wash the station down after use – do not leave any guts in garbage at fish cleaning station – all waste to be tied in garbage bags and put in freezer provided in tractor shed by garbage facility – fishing from our docks is not permitted

Garbage/Recycle– you are responsible for the removal of garbage at the end of your stay – garbage bin located by the gas pump and is for FOOD WASTE ONLY – all other garbage, please take home with you – all garbage to be securely placed in garbage bags (no plastic shopping bags if possible please) prior to being placed in the Park containers – recyclable items (no batteries/propane bottles, etc.) to be taken to Recycle bins and separated accordingly as required during your stay

Guests/Visitors– campers may have day guests/visitors only with prior permission from Management – no overnight stays – all guest/visitors must register at the Office prior to visiting your campsite – day fees and parking fees apply to all guests/visitors – all guests/visitors must leave the park by 9:00 p.m. and may not arrive before 9:00 a.m.

Indemnity – campers are responsible for their family/guests activities at all times – Duins Pineridge Resort has no responsibility for any person or persons using the campsite and surrounding grounds for loss or injury to their person or property, whether loss through fire, theft, collision or vandalism including all items your campsite on Duins Pineridge Resort property (ATVs, snowmobiles, boats, trailers for these vehicles, automobiles, etc.)

Motorized Vehicles/ATV’s– these vehicles are not permitted to be driven through the Park but may be driven from your campsite to the road in order to access trails – all operators must have a valid drivers license and all vehicles/ATV’s must be plated and insured – maximum driving speed is 10km/hr – operating these vehicles prior to 9:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m. is not permitted on Park property

Pedal Boat/Canoe/Aluminum Boat Rentals– canoes and pedal boats are available for rent – customers need to bring their own lifejackets – check with Management for availability – aluminum boat rentals are also available for campers holding a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card, check with Management for availability

Pets– pets are welcome but must be registered and approved by Management prior to camping (to a max. of 2) – we do not allow hyper-active or aggressive breeds (pitbulls/rottweilers/dobermans) – dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times – stoop and scoop rule in effect at all times – DO NOT put scoop bags in cigarette bins located throughout the Park, use garbages only – no continuous barking or dog and owners will be required to leave without refund – ABSOLUTELY NO PETS permitted on our beach or in playground areas, unless on a leash, for the safety of the children in our camp – pets are permitted in the water to the left side of our dock system only – they are not permitted in the water to the right side of the dock system (our swimming area) at any time – absolutely no pet to be left unattended at your campsite

Policies– any violation of these camping policies or violations that disrupt the peace, safety and enjoyment of others, including Management, is cause for expulsion without notice, refund or credit

Quiet Time – in consideration of other guests and neighbours, music must be played softly at all times including daytime– no excessive noise after 11:00 p.m. or before 8:00 a.m. – all music must be off by 11:00 p.m. and lights out by 1:00 a.m., including fires – no foul or vulgar language anywhere on the property please – no check-ins to your campsite after 9:00 p.m.
Seasonal Camping Area – this area of our campground is off-limits to overnight campers unless you are family or friends of one of our seasonal campers

Shower/Washroom/Sanitation Facility– this is a privilege service – please keep this area tidy – no children unattended in this facility  – no pets allowed in this facility – please keep showers short – showers are for sanitary showers only and not for rinsing from the beach – use water tap at your campsite for this purpose – ABSOLUTELY no wipes of any kind in toilets, including Clorox/Lysol-type cleaning wipes – toilet paper only in toilets -feminine products please use bin provided

Smoking – smokers must use the bins provided throughout the Park or your campfire for ALL butts – a charge of $250.00 will be applied to credit card if clean-up of your campsite is required

We reserve the right to limit the number of persons per campsite and to terminate a reservation at any time – a reservation is a firm contract. Rates are subject to change without notice and there are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures, for any reason. *NOTE* these policies are for the overnight campers only – our Seasonal Site Holders receive a comprehensive Contract package which contains the policies for that area of the park.
